Controversial Pastor Damina reveals fate of tithes, offerings in churches

Controversial Nigerian pastor, Abel Damina of Abel Damina Ministries International, has spoken on what happens to the tithes collected by churches and religious organisations.

In a recent sermon Damina  explained that offerings and Tithes do not go to heaven. He claimed that they are being spent.

“No offering goes to heaven. Every offering we collect is used by men. All the offerings we give to God go to men.”

He also debunked a popular saying by pastors, emphasising that statements made to coerce people to pay tithes are lies.

“Those tithe mongers who say the windows of heaven will open when you pay tithes are lying. The doors have been open since Jesus rose from the dead. They collect from everyone but don’t give to anyone. I was there; I know how it works,” he said.
