Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has called out Pastor Paul Adefarasin, founder of House on the Rock Church, following a viral incident involving the clergy and a Lagos-based content creator.
The controversy erupted after a video surfaced showing Pastor Adefarasin allegedly brandishing what appeared to be a firearm at a car spotter who was filming luxury vehicles in Lagos State.
The clip quickly went viral, attracting reactions from both fans and celebrities.
Joining the conversation, Portable criticized the pastor’s action, stating that even as a self-proclaimed “street boy” with a rough persona, he would never display such behavior.
In a viral video, the Zeh Nation boss compared the situation to how authorities treat ordinary citizens. According to him, if a street boy had brandished a weapon in public, they would have been immediately arrested and jailed.
Portable went further to advise Pastor Adefarasin on what he should have done instead of allegedly flashing a gun.
He suggested the pastor should have used the opportunity to minister, preach the gospel, and speak in tongues to the content creator.
To emphasize his point, Portable humorously demonstrated speaking in tongues while referencing his new car.
Mockingly, Portable also gave the pastor a nickname, calling him “Pastor dey do wonder” (Pastor Dabira), while warning that such behavior could attract repercussions from the streets if repeated.
