American host Ananda Lewis passes away

American TV host and model Ananda Lewis has passed away at the age of 52.

Ananda after a prolonged battle with cancer, passed away on Wednesday.

The news of her death was announced by her sister Lakshmi on Facebook.

“She’s free, and in His heavenly arms. Lord, rest her soul,” she wrote.

The TV host was known for her interview style and charisma. She is famous for hosting shows like BET’s Teen summit Amsterdam MTV Total request live. She also hosted her self named show, The Ananda Lewis show.

The TV star died seven years after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She is survived by her 14-year-old son.
