Famous American musician Richard Lamar ‘Ricky’ Hawk, also known as Silento, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison over murder charge.

The 27-year-old, famous for his hit song ‘watch me’, was charged to court over the murder of his cousin. In 2021, he confessed to have shot his cousin, 34-year-old Frederick Ross.

On the 21st of January, the victim was found dead with several gunshot wounds. Investigation later revealed that he was last seen with his cousin, Silento.

The musician’s manager stated that Silento had been suffering mentally before the incident.

In 2019, Silento had also stated that he was ‘fighting demons’.

“I have been fighting demons my whole life. I don’t know if these demons will ever go away,” he said.

The once famous musician is now facing 30 years in prison for murder.
