Amb. Ajadi showers praises on Chief Adewale Teluwo at glamorous 70th birthday celebration

Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, Southwest leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and Chairman/CEO of Bullion Records, has felicitated with renowned business magnate and elder statesman, Chief Adewale Teluwo, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

Describing Chief Teluwo as “a rare breed of leader dedicated to youth empowerment, nation-building, and business excellence,” Ajadi joined numerous dignitaries at the grand celebration held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Divine Event Centre, Obanikoro Bus Stop, Ikorodu Road, Lagos.

The event attracted political allies, business partners, family members, and well-wishers.

Speaking to journalists at the ceremony, Ambassador Ajadi praised Chief Teluwo’s contributions to the development of young Nigerians, especially in politics and entrepreneurship.

“Chief Teluwo is among the few visionary elders who genuinely believe in giving the youth a chance to lead and thrive,” Ajadi remarked. “His open-door policy and mentorship have played a crucial role in shaping the future of many rising leaders across Nigeria.”

He further noted that the celebrant’s legacy of integrity, generosity, and leadership serves as a powerful example for those currently occupying public office.

Looking ahead, Ajadi emphasized the need for more elder statesmen like Chief Teluwo—leaders who mentor, guide, and inspire the next generation.

Also addressing the gathering was Hon. Kehinde Teluwo, one of the celebrant’s sons and NNPP’s Ogun Central Senatorial candidate in the 2023 elections.

He expressed deep gratitude to God for his father’s life and thanked Ambassador Ajadi for honouring the family.

Chief Adewale Teluwo’s illustrious career spans decades in Nigeria’s corporate sector. He previously served as Chairman of the now-defunct Vigilant Insurance Company Ltd and currently chairs several thriving ventures, including Ibukunoluwa Industries Limited and Bukson Investment Limited.
