Drama as D’banj names the top three Nigerian artists

Nigerian veteran artist D’banj has sparked up a controversial debate over Nigeria’s top three artistes.

In an interview with Adesope live on Friday, D’banj mentioned his top three afrobeats artists and excluded Wizkid.  His statement and opinion has sparked up an online debate.

While speaking, the Koko Master praised Davido, Rema and Burna Boy for their dedication and achievements.

“Shout out to Rema. I like his energy… Then there is Davido. People should learn from the way he carries himself, like he doesn’t have a penny, yet he’s so consistent. Burna Boy is too intentional, his live shows are amazing,” D’banj stated.

While many commended him for speaking his truth, others called him out for not mentioning Wizkid. They accused him of being bias and not speaking facts.
