Veteran Nigerian singer Bright Chimezie has revealed that he is back in the business of making music.
While speaking with Hip Tv at the making of ‘with you ‘ visuals, Chimezie expressed his excitement and delight.
“I am so delighted. And I feel honoured. I am grateful to Davido for recognising the fact that he drew inspiration from me,” he said.
Chimezie also explained that he was not aware of his song being used as an inspiration until Davido reached out to him
“I didn’t even know. He was the one who called and confessed to me, “Daddy, this is what I did.” His humility and everything made me so happy about it. We have so many songs to record. In fact, we were in the studio before David called, so we are in the business”.” he said.
Chimezie’s 41-year-old track recently got featured in Spotify viral chart.
