‘I Was Paid ₦30 to Clean Gutters’ – Osimhen recalls humble beginnings

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has shared touching details about his early life, revealing the hardships he endured before rising to football stardom.

In a heartfelt interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Osimhen reflected on his difficult upbringing, recalling how he performed menial jobs to support himself as a child.

“There was a building in front of my house, a typical face-me-I-face-you setting. I used to fetch water for people there for N80,” he said. “Most times, I would clean gutters when green things—spirogyra—started growing, and I got paid N30 for the work.”
