Ogun Assembly minority leader facilitates N150m projects for constituency

The Minority Leader of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Adeleye Lukman Olalekan, has announced the approval of N150 million projects for his Odogbolu State Constituency.

The projects, funded by the Ogun State Government and facilitated by the minority leader were designed to improve the welfare of the constituents and boost socio-economic development of the area.

According to Adeleye, the projects were carefully selected following extensive consultations with key stakeholders across the communities in the constituency

The approved projects include “the construction of a block of three classrooms with shelves at Aiyepe Community High School, Aiyepe, Ward 06 and the construction of a block of three classrooms with shelves at Ibefun/Ilado Comprehensive High School, Ibefun, Ward 09 to enhance learning and improve the educational environment”.

“Also the development of a 12-units open-stall market at Imosan, Ward 01 and the development of a 12-units open-stall market at Imodi, Ward 02 are to be constructed to boost commerce, create economic opportunities and support small-scale traders.

The lawmaker explained that competent contractors have been mobilized to the site to commence work, following a competitive bidding process carried out by the Tender Board.

Adeleye who reaffirmed his commitment to transparency and accountability in the implementation of the projects, assured that the projects would be completed on time and efficiently for the benefit of the constituents.

He expressed gratitude to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, community and local leaders, as well as other stakeholders for their support and collaboration, stating that the projects are a testament to the shared vision for a prosperous and thriving Odogbolu State Constituency.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP lawmaker’s efforts have been praised by the people of Odogbolu, who see him as a genuine leader dedicated to the well-being and development of his constituents.

The projects are expected to have a significant impact on the community, improving education, commerce, and the overall quality of life for the residents.
