Reality TV star and DJ, DJ Flo, has shed light on the emotional end of her decade-long friendship with fellow Big Brother Naija housemate Rhuthee, revealing that a post-show interview Rhuthee granted was the final blow to their relationship.
Speaking during the premiere episode of BBNaija: No Loose Guard reunion, DJ Flo disclosed that the interview made her question the foundation of their bond and helped her decide to walk away.
“I try not to have regrets, but I just truly believe that as much as I cherish what we had for 10 years… what really did it for me was the interview she had,” DJ Flo said.
“When I saw that she did an interview speaking on me, I needed to understand where she was coming from. That interview made me realise that I might have love for this person, but we’ve gotten to a point where we should go our separate ways. She’s just not good for my energy anymore—and that’s perfectly fine.”
The two entered the BBNaija house as close friends with a tight bond that had lasted nearly a decade. However, instead of strengthening their friendship, the show appeared to expose cracks that eventually led to their emotional split.
