Charly Boy, 75, reveals secret to his youthful look

Veteran Nigerian entertainer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has revealed the secret behind his remarkably youthful appearance at age 75 .

In a video shared on his official Instagram page, the iconic singer and activist was seen undergoing beauty treatments at a spa, including microblading and the removal of grey hairs.

Charly Boy, known for his eccentric personality and bold fashion statements, emphasized that self-care isn’t reserved for the younger generation.

Sharing a clip of the procedure, he captioned:
“This grandpa eeeeeeeehn! My people, I carry myself go do small microblading, removal of all gray hair yesooo. I say make I fine small. Do you mind? Clean face no be crime, abeg.”

He urged his followers to prioritize self-maintenance, regardless of age, adding that it reflects self-respect and not vanity.

“Make I tell una, this self-care no be only for small pikin or Gen Z people. We go drag am. Na for anybody wey value themselves… As we dey age, na so we suppose dey package ourselves. No be vanity, na self-respect.”

Charly Boy also joked that his sparkling teeth and smooth face are not a result of filters, but “maintenance.”

The entertainer concluded with a call to action:
