Israel thanks President Trump and the American people for standing firmly by our side and for their participation in the operation to remove the Iranian nuclear threat,” the statement concluded.

The Israeli government has announced that it has agreed to a ceasefire following what it described as the successful completion of its military objectives against Iran.

In a strongly worded statement released on Tuesday, Israeli officials claimed that their recent strikes had “eliminated” Iran’s nuclear and missile threats, which they called an “immediate dual existential danger” to the state of Israel.

According to the statement, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) carried out widespread operations targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and missile development facilities.

Israeli forces also reportedly launched precision strikes on dozens of high-value Iranian government and military installations, particularly in and around Tehran.

“In the last 24 hours alone, Israeli forces have conducted operations deep in the heart of the Iranian capital,” the statement read.

“These operations led to the destruction of multiple government buildings and command centers, the elimination of hundreds of Basij militia operatives, and the assassination of another senior nuclear scientist linked to Iran’s weapons program.”

The Basij militia, a paramilitary wing under Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, is frequently deployed to suppress internal dissent and protests.

Israeli officials said the group had also been used to support Iran’s external military operations in the region.

Israel emphasized that its military campaign had significantly weakened Iran’s ability to threaten the region with nuclear weapons or long-range missiles in the near future.

It also stated that the operation had dealt a major blow to the leadership and organizational structure of Iran’s military.

The Israeli government expressed gratitude to the United States for what it called “steadfast support and active cooperation,” singling out U.S. President Donald Trump for his role in backing the mission.

“Israel thanks President Trump and the American people for standing firmly by our side and for their participation in the operation to remove the Iranian nuclear threat,” the statement concluded.

As of now, there has been no official response from Iran regarding the ceasefire or the claims made by Israel. International observers are closely watching developments, as tensions in the Middle East remain high despite the announcement.
