Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State has announced that the polytechnic Ibadan will be renamed after Omololu Olunloyo, the late governor of the state.
Makinde announced this on Thursday at the interdenominational commendation service. Punch reports that the service was held for the late former governor at the Obafemi Awolowo stadium in Ibadan.
“The institution will now be known as Omololu Olunloyo Polytechnic, Ibadan,” Governor Makinde said.
