A vibrant young life has been cut short in a shocking shooting on Great Cambridge Road, Enfield, prompting the Metropolitan Police to launch a murder investigation.
The incident, reported at 8:45 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2025, left an 18-year-old man fatally wounded, sparking grief and concern across the north London community.

“I am saddened to hear that a young man lost his life last night,” said Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines, who oversees policing in Enfield.
