Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Anthony Ebuka Victor, also known as Victony, has opened up on his sobriety journey, revealing that he is three months clean.

The singer took to his X page on Thursday to open up on certain experiences and how they affected him.

Victony stated that he was robbed of his youth by his troubles.

“My troubles stole my youth,” he wrote.

The singer was involved in a tragic car accident in 2021 which resulted in the death of one of the car passengers. Victony however narrowly escaped tragedy but was severely injured.

While in a wheelchair, he collaborated with Mayorkun on the track ‘Holy Father’. This song put the singer in the spotlight.

Victony had also recently revealed that he was working on his alcohol intake and is 3 months sober.

“3 months sober, Glory. ,” he wrote.
