The National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabi’u Kwankwaso, says he is saddened by the news of the demise of renowned businessman and philantropist Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
Dantata, a foremost business tycoon died on Saturday at 94. He was buried in Saudi Arabia on the same day.
In a condolence message on his social media platforms, Kwankwaso described Dantata as an “Iroko”
“I am saddened to learn of the passing of Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata,” Senator Kwankwaso said
He noted that Dantata’s death is a tremendous loss to both Kano State and the nation, given his towering contributions to the country’s development, particularly in Kano.
Kwankwaso prayed for God’s mercy on Dantata’s soul, saying, “May the Almighty Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus.” He also extended his condolences to the government and people of Kano State, as well as the Dantata family.
