Popular Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has addressed recent online reports circulating about her alleged arrest, clarifying that she was merely invited by the police for questioning, not detained.

Speculation mounted on social media after a video surfaced showing the actress being escorted by individuals identified as Nigerian Police officers.

Many netizens quickly assumed an arrest, linking it to ongoing discussions about alleged cyberbullying of fellow actress Mercy Johnson.

However, Angela Okorie took to her Instagram page to refute these claims.

In a video shared online, she stated, “I was invited and I went there, you know what I mean…” affirming that her presence at the police station was voluntary.
