Italian Serie A club Atalanta have made it clear that they will not reduce their asking price for Nigerian international winger, Ademola Lookman.

According to reports from Tuttomercato, the Bergamo-based side are open to selling Lookman during the current summer transfer window but will only consider offers in the region of €50 million to €60 million.

The club believes that the former Everton and Leicester City star has proven his worth and will not accept any cut-price deal for his services.

Lookman, who turned 27 this year, has emerged as one of Atalanta’s key players since joining the club. His consistent performances have attracted the attention of several top European clubs.

Premier League giants Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign the tricky winger, having revived their long-standing interest in him. Napoli and Juventus, two of Italy’s biggest clubs, have also been linked with the Nigerian as they seek to strengthen their attacking options ahead of next season.

The talented forward, who has just one year left on his contract with Atalanta, enjoyed an impressive campaign last season. He scored 15 goals and provided five assists in 31 Serie A appearances for La Dea, helping them secure a strong league finish and qualification for European competitions.

Lookman is expected to make a decision on his future soon, as potential suitors continue to monitor his situation closely in the coming weeks.
