The body of a 46-year-old Nigerian man who was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Italy will soon be brought back to Nigeria.
He was crossing State Road 554 on Sunday morning when he was hit by a BMW at the traffic lights between Selargius and Settimo San Pietro. The driver was a 25-year-old woman who later tested positive for alcohol.
There were four young people in the car from Assemini and Cagliari. They were taken to Brotzu and Monserrato Polyclinic hospitals for check-ups, but their injuries were not serious.
