2Baba reveals truth behind separation with Annie Macaulay

Nigerian veteran musician Innocent Idibia has finally spoken up concerning his separation with his ex-wife Annie Macaulay.

The divorce which was announced in January 2025, came as a shock to his fans as the couple had been together for 12 years with two children together.

While speaking in an interview with Nedu, 2Baba spoke highly of Annie and stated that they were fully dedicated to their marriage.

“I think both of us gave it out best. Why we are not together is not something I’m going to start talking about here in the public”, he stated.

2Baba also revealed that the marriage was not working anymore which led them to split up. He however, stated that he has an understanding with Annie.

“Me and her, we get our understanding. She’s amazing. Like I said earlier, it wasn’t just working no more. That’s just it”, he noted.
