The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is fast becoming a strong opposition platform as prominent politicians from the PDP, APC, and Labour Party rally around it to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections.

While some have official I’mly joined the ADC, others have pledged to support its efforts without leaving their parties.

Many of them have openly criticised the current administration’s policies, especially on subsidy removal and naira floating, and are uniting to present a formidable alternative.

Solomon Dalung
Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Dalung was among those spotted at the coalition’s unveiling.

Ex-Senate President and former military governor of Niger State, now serving as interim National Chairman of the ADC.

The ADC coalition plans to replicate the opposition strategy that brought APC to power in 2015 by building a united front, consolidating its structure, and selecting credible candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
