Media personality Daddy Freeze has weighed in on 2Baba’s recent apology to his wife and children following his controversial remarks about monogamy.

The Afrobeats legend had earlier stirred public backlash during an interview with Nedu Wazobia, where he claimed that it’s unrealistic for a man to be sexually involved with only one woman, regardless of how much he loves her.

2Baba took to social media to tender a public apology, a move that has stirred various reactions.

Reacting via his Instagram page, Daddy Freeze expressed concern over the singer’s current state, saying the Innocent Idibia he once knew appears to be slipping away.

“It seems to me there are people who are intentionally trying to derail any possibility of 2Baba returning to his legendary status,” Freeze said. “I don’t know what has turned him into this, but this is not the Innocent Idibia that I know.”
