Heavy rainfall that lasted for hours on Friday night caused widespread destruction in Zogirma village, Bunza Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

According to Haruna Danmalam, a resident of Bunza, the downpour had a devastating impact on the village. The Secretary of the Bunza Local Government Area, Malam Muhammed Umar Mawo, visited the affected areas and sympathized with the residents on behalf of the Chairman of the local government area.
Mawo assured the victims that the local government authorities would compile a comprehensive report on the incident and submit it to the state government for necessary action.
In a similar incident, four villages in the Arewa Local Government Area of Kebbi State were also affected by flooding. The villages of Tungar Chindo, Tungar Kure, Feske Malabawa, and Feske Rafi suffered significant damage, with over 60 houses and many animals and properties worth hundreds of naira destroyed.
