Ecobank Nigeria has informed its customers of a planned maintenance exercise that will affect its card services for a 24-hour period on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
In an official message released on Tuesday, the bank stated: “Please be informed that our card services will undergo maintenance on Wednesday, 9th July, from 1:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.”
The bank further noted that during this maintenance window, customers may experience intermittent service disruptions when attempting to use their cards.
However, Ecobank assured customers that all other banking channels would remain fully functional.
“Please note that alternative channels such as our mobile apps, USSD, and others will be fully accessible during this period,” the message read.
The bank apologised for any inconvenience the temporary disruption may cause and thanked customers for their understanding.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” the statement concluded.
Customers are advised to make alternative payment arrangements during the maintenance period to avoid disruptions to their transactions.
