Fire razes Iyabo Ojo’s office in Lagos

A section of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s office building went up in flames on Tuesday night, July 8, 2025.

The incident, which reportedly occurred around 7pm, left part of the property badly damaged. In a video shared by the actress, the aftermath of the fire could be seen with burnt walls and destroyed equipment.

Thankfully, no lives were lost.

“This just happened today, the 8th of July 2025, around 7pm. My office building caught fire,” she said in an Instagram post. “Thank you to the Nigerian Fire Service and my staff for salvaging what was left. The devil tested us today but God said no. With God on my side, we will bounce back bigger and better.”

Emergency services were seen at the scene, working alongside her team to contain the damage. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Meanwhile, the movie thespian has remained calm and optimistic following the incident.
