Man United unveil new shirt numbers ahead of 2026/27 season

Manchester United has announced new shirt numbers for several players ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Young defender Tyler Fredricson will now wear the number 33 jersey, moving from number 55. Fredricson, a 20-year-old graduate of the club’s Academy, made his Premier League debut against Wolves in April and also started in the match against Brentford.
Chido Obi, another young talent, will now wear the number 32 shirt. The 17-year-old joined Manchester United from Arsenal’s Academy last November and previously wore the number 56.
Other changes include Diogo Dalot switching to number 2 and new signing Matheus Cunha taking the number 10 shirt.
Additionally, Academy players Shea Lacey, Bendito Mantato, and Reece Munro have been assigned squad numbers 61, 70, and 65 respectively.
