Buhari’s final journey: Burial set for Monday in Daura

Former President Muhammadu Buhari will be buried on Monday in his hometown, Daura, in Katsina State.

According to TVC, Buhari died at a clinic in London at 4:30 pm on Sunday. He had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.

His former media aide, Garba Shehu, shared the news on social media platform X.

President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness over Buhari’s death and has sent Vice President Kashim Shettima to London. Shettima will accompany Buhari’s body back to Nigeria for theburial.
