Davido reflects on empathy, emotions in relationships

Nigerian Afrobeats musician David Adeleke professionally known as Davido has weighed in on the importance of emotions and empathy in human relationships.

The singer noted on his Instagram page on Monday, the role of emotions in creating a lasting impact on people.

Davido expressed that although actions and words are important, they can easily fade from people’s memories. He emphasised that lasting impressions are made by strong emotions.

“I’ve learnt that people will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel,” he wrote.

Davido also stated his view on the importance of empathy and emotional intelligence. He advised his fans to take note to of their emotional footprints.
