Davido’s ‘Timeless’ album goes silver in the UK

Nigerian music superstar, Davido, has once again proven his global dominance as his album “Timeless” received a Silver Certification in the United Kingdom.

The award, confirmed by music certification platform Chart Data, was given after the album surpassed 100,000 unit sales in the UK, making it one of the most successful Afrobeats projects internationally.

Released in March 2023, Timeless broke multiple streaming records across platforms including Spotify Nigeria, Boomplay, Audiomack, and YouTube. The album also earned Davido several award nominations, including Song of the Year at the Headies and two Grammy nods — Best Global Album and Best Global Music Performance.

Following its success, the singer launched a Timeless Tour, performing in sold-out venues around the globe and further cementing his place as one of Africa’s biggest music exports.
