Nigerian controversial artist Darlington Okoye, also known a Speed Darlington has announced his successful departure from the country, after being declared wanted.
The singer in an Instagram video bragged that he left Lagos girls for New Yorkers.
The singer claimed that girls in New York are not money hungry unlike Lagos girls. He stated that they do things out of love which makes them more preferable.
“I left Lagos girl for New York girls. I thought they were better. This people dey do love. Our own people na ‘give me money, give me money’,” he said.
Speed Darlington was declared wanted in June by NAPTIP for allegedly having sexual relations with minor.
the singer was invited to questioning but he declined the invitation, claiming he was innocent.
