Popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Adekunle Gold, has taken to social media to reward academic excellence by gifting N250,000 each to multiple first-class graduates from various Nigerian universities.

In a tweet that quickly gained traction on X (formerly Twitter), the music star called on graduates with first-class degrees to share their academic transcripts. “If you graduated with First Class, post your transcripts,” Adekunle Gold wrote.

After reviewing the submissions, the award-winning singer credited several students with the monetary reward as a token of encouragement and recognition for their hard work.

Through the Adekunle Gold Foundation, the singer has consistently contributed to the growth of young talents, especially individuals living with sickle cell disorder—a cause close to his heart.

The foundation provides scholarships and training in music business, including production, management, and marketing, to aspiring creatives.
