Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed deep gratitude to her fans and colleagues following the devastating fire incident that gutted her office building a week ago.

In an emotional Instagram post, the movie star acknowledged the overwhelming support and prayers she received during the difficult time.

“I see the love and support, your words of encouragement, and prayers,” she wrote. “I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you, and I don’t take it for granted. My beautiful people, please be at peace: though the devil may rage, God triumphs in the end.”

Earlier this month, Ojo had shared a video of the fire aftermath, commending the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for minimizing the damage.

She thanked God that no lives were lost, describing the incident as a spiritual test that God helped her overcome.

However, the situation surrounding the fire took a darker turn when a group of men were seen on the streets of Lagos chanting hateful messages against her, following her involvement in seeking justice for late singer Mohbad.

Responding to the threats and criticisms, Iyabo Ojo clarified that she never accused anyone of causing Mohbad’s death, and revealed that she has faced death threats for years, including a letter recently sent to her office days before her daughter’s wedding in Tanzania.
