Governor Radda organises special prayers for Buhari

Katsina state Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, on Friday, offered special prayers for the repose of the soul of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who died in a London hospital and was buried in Daura, last Tuesday.

Governor Radda was joined in prayers by other dignitaries at Dumurkul Juma’at Mosque.

Shortly after the Juma’at prayer at Dumurkul Central Mosque, a special prayer session was held in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Governor Radda joined family members, traditional leaders, and political dignitaries to pray for the peaceful repose of the late President’s soul.

Also present were the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk; elder statesman Mamman Daura; Musa Haro; Yusuf Buhari; Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasiru Yahaya Daura; and others.

Katsina Zonal All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman, Alhaji Yahaya Asasanta; Mai’adua Local Government Chairman; Katsina Local Government Chairman; and Funtua Local Government Chairman were among those who also participated in the solemn prayer, paying their respects to the departed leader.
