Speaking on a recent episode of Outside The Box Podcast, Uriel expressed her frustration with what she described as a lack of "substance" in relationships involving Nigerian men.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa, has opened up about her struggles with dating, stating that it is hard to find a meaningful relationship with a Nigerian man.

Speaking on a recent episode of Outside The Box Podcast, Uriel expressed her frustration with what she described as a lack of “substance” in relationships involving Nigerian men.

“It’s hard to date a Nigerian man, I don’t understand why you people are so complicated,” she said. “You will see women who are 35, 40, 41, 42, and they are still single despite their beauty. Why? What’s happening?”

Uriel claimed that many Nigerian men have a mentality that prevents them from committing, constantly seeking something better instead of appreciating what they have.

“It’s hard to find a decent man in Nigeria. Nigerian men have a cultural belief that there’s always something better. There’s nothing better,” she added.
