Why some men avoid clubbing girlfriends – BBNaija’s Tuoyo

Nigerian reality TV star, Tuoyo, has addressed a common relationship debate, why some men dislike their girlfriends going out to clubs frequently.

In a post shared via Instagram Stories on Friday, July 18, 2025, the former Big Brother Naija housemate clarified that such concerns often stem from genuine care, not insecurity.

Tuoyo revealed that he has witnessed numerous situations where men end up taking home women who are already in relationships, especially after club outings where alcohol or financial desperation were involved.

“I’ve lost count of how many men have taken other people’s girlfriends home after a night out,” he wrote. “Sometimes they were drunk, sometimes they needed money.”
