Gov Fintiri’s aide dies after complaining of toothache
A Special Assistant to Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is dead, just three days after he complained of severe toothache.
The aide, Suleiman Aliyu Garga, who handled content creation for the Governor, took to Facebook on Thursday, July 17, warning friends about the pain of toothache.
“You should pray to God to save you from toothache even if it is for one minute, Alaji. Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best disposer of affairs,” he wrote.
He was admitted at the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital for surgery, but sources said complications arose when the surgery site began to bleed.
Garga died on Saturday, barely 24 hours after the procedure.
He was buried on Sunday morning at the Yolde Pate Muslim Cemetery in Yola after Sallah prayers at the Modibbo Zailani Mosque, in line with Islamic rites.
