Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has called out Oleksandr Usyk for a third showdown, claiming he remains the only fighter capable of defeating the Ukrainian after Usyk’s dominant fifth-round knockout of Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

In a fiery Instagram post on Sunday, Fury declared his intent to face Usyk again, asserting he was unfairly denied victory in their previous encounters.

Fury, who lost to Usyk by split decision in May 2024 and unanimous decision in December 2024, referenced Dubois’ recent loss to bolster his claim.

“After watching the boxing last night and reflecting on the situation, AJ boxed Daniel Dubois recently and got ironed out, knocked down five times, flattened,” Fury said.

He highlighted Dubois’ prior wins over Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, and Joshua, adding, “Dubois was on a great run, three big knockouts in a row and he goes in there and gets absolutely plastered, iced out by Usyk.”

Fury argued that Usyk’s ability to defeat both Dubois and Joshua underscored his own standing in the heavyweight division.

“The only man who’s been able to beat this f***** is myself and been ripped off,” he claimed, suggesting controversial judging cost him victories in their previous fights.

“GK [Gypsy King] all day, every day, still the top dog, still the top G. Beat him twice and I’ll do it again. Wembley, here we come.”

The 37-year-old Briton, whose record stands at 34-2-1, has been vocal about his desire for a trilogy fight with Usyk, who reclaimed the IBF title and solidified his status as a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion with the Dubois win.

Usyk, undefeated at 24-0, has not publicly responded to Fury’s latest challenge. However, promoter Eddie Hearn suggested post-fight that a third Fury-Usyk bout could be a “massive fight” for 2026, potentially at Wembley or in Saudi Arabia.
