Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has opened up about the emotional and spiritual challenges she faced during her pregnancy, following the birth of her second child, a baby girl.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the Yoruba film star reflected on her nine-month journey, describing it as both “tough and rough.”
She revealed that at several points, she was scared, frightened, and even began to question her faith in God.
“I came, I saw, and I conquered. For I am the one the Lord chooses to bless,” she wrote. “Regardless of the ‘ILAKOJA’, it was a tough journey. I began to doubt my God, but He proved Himself.”
The actress expressed deep gratitude to her loved ones who organized a surprise baby shower for her, singling out her close friend Sarah Apekola for her unwavering support. She also unveiled her daughter’s name as Bioluwatifeorilori.
Bimpe, who remarried in 2023 after two years of being single, tied the knot with Yousuph O Ganiyu in a Nikai ceremony.
