The latest drama unfolded after VeryDarkMan criticized President Bola Tinubu over the ongoing killings in Benue and the worsening economic situation in the country.

Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has responded to allegations by online critic VeryDarkMan, denying claims that he once stole a tricycle (Keke) in 2020 before his rise to fame.

The latest drama unfolded after VeryDarkMan criticized President Bola Tinubu over the ongoing killings in Benue and the worsening economic situation in the country.

Portable, reacting via Instagram, slammed VeryDarkMan for “biting the hand that fed him,” claiming the critic only began enjoying a luxurious lifestyle under Tinubu’s regime.

VeryDarkMan clapped back with an old video allegedly showing Portable being beaten for stealing a tricycle before he became a star.

He later released a diss track on Wednesday morning, taunting the singer and repeatedly calling him a thief.

In a fiery Instagram video, Portable denied the allegations and fired back with his own diss track, where he sang:
“VeryDarkMan, your mother. You’re a poor person. Your father is a shoemaker, I take after my father, I’m not a thief. Stop calling me a thief.”
