Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again stirred social media with his latest self-styled persona and car collection.
In a recent Instagram post, the singer showed off a fleet of his cars, boldly referring to himself as the “Donald Trump Sango,” a mix of traditional Yoruba mythology and Western political bravado.
The post, which featured a photo of several rugged-looking vehicles, quickly attracted humorous and sarcastic reactions from fans and critics alike.
One Instagram user commented, “You don open mortuary?”—referring to the appearance of the cars. Another user joked, “Na ambulance you dey drive?” while some likened the cars to hearses, dubbing one a “casket car.”
This is not the first time Portable has flaunted his automobile purchases. Earlier in April, he revealed he had acquired a brand-new Ford F150, partially funded by a N20 million gift from Afrobeat star Burna Boy. He previously claimed ownership of over 20 cars, including a G-Wagon and Range Rover, and even revealed plans to build a hotel.
Despite living “in the trenches,” Portable insists he doesn’t live a “trenches life.” In his words, “I don’t fake my lifestyle.”
