Controversial Nigerian activist and social media commentator, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has once again stirred online controversy with a freshly released diss track aimed at several prominent figures, including Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, street-hop musician Portable, and popular preacher Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.

In the viral song shared on Instagram, VDM took direct shots at Governor Okpebholo, mocking his allegedly poor WAEC results, which surfaced online in the buildup to the last election.

He criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for allowing someone with such academic records to contest.

“E8, WAEC result of a governor. INEC, shame on you,” he rapped in the track.

VDM didn’t stop there. He reignited his long-standing feud with Portable, referencing an alleged Keke (tricycle) theft incident and the singer’s recent police altercation and detention.

The diss track also targeted Prophet Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry. VDM ridiculed the clergyman’s popular spiritual products, including his “healing water,” and accused him of exploiting desperate followers.

The explosive track has drawn mixed reactions across social media.

While some fans hailed VDM’s boldness and lyrical skill, others accused him of crossing moral and legal lines.

Here are some reactions from social media:

  • @jack_sonsucess: “What a jam.”

  • @holamydexloj: “VDM na werey.”

  • @iamcozzdee: “I love this level of pettiness.”

  • @villagetapper: “Portable wey no get shame will still come for him…”

  • @jaynation: “VDM may God protect you for us.”
