Wizkid makes history with 9 Billion streams

Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has made history by reaching a milestone of 9 Billion streams on Spotify.

This new milestone has made Wizkid the first African artist to surpass 9 billion streams across all credits on the streaming app.

His most streamed track is ‘One Dance’ with Drake and Kyla, which has amassed  3.7 billion streams on Spotify alone.

The single is among the top 10 most streamed songs in Spotify history. It also holds a Guinness World Record as the first song to surpass 1 billion streams on the platform.

This new feat ranks Wizkid as on of the world’s most streamed artist.
