Sunmbo Adeoye celebrates son Zion Idibia’s award-winning graduation

Sunmbo Adeoye, one of the mothers of music icon 2Baba’s seven children, is beaming with pride as her son, Zion Idibia, marks a major academic success, his graduation from secondary school.
A week after the memorable ceremony, Sunmbo took to social media to share heartwarming photos from the event, accompanied by a touching message celebrating her son’s achievement.
The event saw a strong family presence, including 2Baba himself, his mother Rose Idibia, his daughters Isabella and Olivia (from ex-wife Annie Idibia), his brother Charles Idibia, as well as Sunmbo’s husband, Pastor David Adeoye, and Zion’s brother, Nino Idibia.
Describing the graduation as a “significant milestone” for the family, Sunmbo revealed that Zion didn’t just complete his education, he excelled, bagging an impressive five awards in a single day.
Four of those awards were for academic excellence, while the fifth recognized him as the overall best in the commerce class of 2025.
In her emotional tribute, Sunmbo wrote:
“One week today. Jesus, we thank you for your blessing, which makes us rich and adds no sorrow.
A significant milestone in our family.
Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for a sign and a wonder, and MIRACLES in Israel from the LORD of hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion.
Congratulations, Zion Idibia, for graduating in flying colours.
I mean, bagging 5 awards in one day, 4 for academics. 1 for being the absolute best in the commerce class of 2025.
My son, you didn’t just finish secondary school o, you dominated it.
Congrats, son.”
