Football Transfer: Osimhen’s Galatasaray move set for announcement

According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli has finalized the contracts for the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray, with the official announcement expected on Monday.

Osimhen is set to arrive in Istanbul for a routine medical and signing, followed by a grand welcome at Galatasaray’s home stadium.

Galatasaray will pay Napoli 75 million euros for the transfer. An initial 40 million euros will be paid immediately, with the remaining amount to be settled in two installments next year, secured by bank guarantees.

If Osimhen is transferred again before 2027, Napoli will receive 10 percent of the future transfer fee.

Additionally, Galatasaray is not allowed to sell Osimhen to another Italian club for the next two years. Should this clause be breached, a 30 million euro fine will be imposed.
