What Ruger did for students in alma matter

Nigerian singer-songwriter Michael Adebayo Olayinka, also know as Ruger, has extended a charitable hand to his alma matter.

The singer in a visit to his former secondary school made donations to the school and awarded a student with a full scholarship.

In a now viral video on X, Ruger was seen presenting laptops to the school’s management. He also addressed the students and staff.

Ruger took a trip down memory lane, speaking about is time as a student in the institution.

“On behalf of my team, me and my family, I’m presenting 50 computer laptops to the school. We’re in the computer age. We want to use this so that our education in this school will be better and more efficient. This is not all we’re going to do for this school. As God continues to bless and uplift us, we’re going to do more. The happiest part of my life was in this school, the most exciting part of my life was in this school. I thank my friends for also coming here. The boy that sang to me the other time, Lucky Friday. I was really touched by what he did and I’m willing to sponsor his education,” he said.
