Popular Nollywood actress Nkechi Sunday Blessing has shocked fans with a revelation about the real reason behind her recent break from acting.
Speaking on the podcast Curiosity Made Me Ask hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, the outspoken movie star disclosed that someone anonymously placed her on a ₦1 million weekly salary, a gesture she said came at a time when she was struggling to earn enough from movie roles.
“Someone anonymously put me on a ₦1 million weekly salary because I wasn’t getting paid enough for movie roles — that’s why I took a break from acting,” Nkechi stated.
She added that sometimes, even after completing a movie project, she barely made up to ₦1 million in profit, which made the offer all the more life-changing.
When asked by the host if the mystery benefactor is still anonymous, the actress bluntly replied, “It’s not your business.”
