Actor Gideon Okeke cries out over skin reaction

Popular Nigerian actor, Gideon Okeke, has taken to Instagram to express his frustration over a serious skin reaction he developed after wearing an unwashed animal-skin costume on a Nollywood set.

In the post, Okeke blamed the wardrobe department of the production, describing the condition of the costume as appalling.

“The yeye wey dey that wardrobe dey smell,” he wrote, lamenting how he returned from set with rashes all over his body.

The actor, known for his roles in both television and film, urged filmmakers to maintain proper hygiene standards, particularly when it comes to costumes shared among actors.

He tagged the experience under his “Diaries from a Nollywood Epic.”
