The event showcased commanding performances by gospel icon Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey, alongside Yinka Alaseyori, Yinka Erinle, and choral groups from Lagos’ five administrative divisions, representing CAN’s blocs.

Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State’s First Lady, ignited a spiritual revival at the fifth Lagos Praise concert, a soul-stirring interdenominational event themed “Freedom Through Praise,” held at LTV Blue Roof, Agidingbi, Ikeja.

The electrifying gathering drew thousands, uniting the Christian community in fervent worship and thanksgiving.

Praising the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and religious leaders for their unwavering prayers, Dr. Sanwo-Olu credited their spiritual support for driving Lagos’ peace and progress.

Quoting Psalm 67:3, she declared, “Praise is a divine catalyst for God’s presence,” and referenced Acts 16:25-26, highlighting the transformative power of prayer and praise, as seen in Paul and Silas’ miraculous prison deliverance.

The First Lady underscored the administration’s commitment to faith, noting the Monthly Praise and Worship Programme, held with CAN every last Thursday at Lagos House, as a cornerstone of divine guidance.

“As the First Family, we cherish these gatherings,” she said, rallying residents to continue praying for Lagos and Nigeria’s enduring peace.
