Breaking: Appeal Court upholds Aiyedatiwa’s election as Ondo Governor

The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure has affirmed the election of Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the duly elected Governor of Ondo State.

Aiyedatiwa, who contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), defeated his closest rival, Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the November 16, 2024, governorship poll.

The appellate court, in its judgment on Thursday, dismissed all appeals filed by the PDP and its candidate, describing them as lacking in merit.
