DJ Cuppy cries out over single status

Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress, DJ Cuppy, has once again opened up about her struggles with singlehood, expressing frustration over her current relationship status.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, the music star shared a post that read:
“When I see wedding photos online, I start reminding God again.”

This isn’t the first time Cuppy has publicly lamented being single.

Earlier this month, she disclosed during a conversation with her mother and sisters that although she’s not in a relationship, she has been talking to a few people. “May the best man win,” she quipped.

The 31-year-old was previously engaged to British boxer Ryan Taylor, a relationship that began in late 2022 and ended in 2023 under undisclosed circumstances.

Since then, she has made several humorous yet emotional posts about her desire to find love.

In the past, Cuppy has:

• Jokingly listed ‘Jesus’ as her emergency contact,

• Contemplated marrying an Indian man,

• And even posted a crying selfie on LinkedIn, stating she was looking for a finance professional “6-foot tall with brown eyes.”
